Le phénomène associatif : 1850-1914 : associations et groupements divers sans but lucratif dans l'arrondissement de Villefranche-sur-Saône

This recherch is about all structures based on voluntary adhesion, situated between powers of the state, the church and the municipalities, and, the family community. We study together in spite of multiple activities, several legislative structures and varied social contents, fire brigade compagnies, mutual insurances, trade associations, co-operatives, circles, agricultural, musical, sporting and school societies. The homogeneity of the subject is given by common characteristics: structures are officialy reconized, their word are organized by formal procedure and the adhesion is voluntary. With chronology and geography of the movement we deal with the diffusion of the association from the national to the local, from the city to the village, and seek economical, social and cultural facts to understand differences then, we will see what practices and values are diffused by the association : what apprenticeship their implantation and word permit to the adherents and public collectivities.

Cette étude prend en compte l'ensemble des structures fondées sur l'adhésion volontaire, situées entre les pouvoirs reconnus de l'état, l'église et des communes, et la communauté familiale. Compagnies de sapeur pompiers, mutuelles, syndicats, coopératives, cercles, comices, sociétés agricoles, musicales, sportives, périscolaires sont étudiées conjointement malgré des activités, cadres législatifs 0et contenus sociaux multiples. L'officialisation des structures, la formalisation des fonctionnements et le volontariat de l'adhésion donnent à l'ensemble une certaine homogénéité. A partir de la chronologie et de la géographie d'un mouvement, véritable vague de fond dans la société locale, nous abordons la descente d'un mouvement, du national au local, de la ville au village, et recherchons les facteurs économiques, sociaux et culturels locaux permettant d'éclairer les différences d'associationnisme de la population. Pénétrant ensuite au sein des groupements nous nous attachons aux pratiques et valeurs véhiculées par l'association : quels apprentissages leurs implantations et fonctionnements permettent-ils aux adhérents et aux collectivités publiques ?
