From the end of the culture revolution to today, the Chinese contemporary art has gone through a process of thirty years. During these thirty years, the Chinese society has undergone a big change. In the process of the Chinese contemporary art, the “body” has undoubtedly played an important role. If we say that art is a bridge between the artist’s life and the society, the “body” is an important bridge pier. From the body’s viewpoint, we can find the logic of Chinese contemporary art’s development and understand how the Chinese artists integrated their work into the social space. In this thesis, we have studied the most important phenomenon of body in the Chinese contemporary art. They include the “sacrificed body”, the “parody body”, the “metamorphosis body”, the “metaphor body” and the “intermediality of body”. At last, we have also described our own art works about the “body”.

De la fin de la révolution culturelle à nos jours, l’art contemporain chinois a passé par un processus trentenaire pendant lequel la société chinoise a passé un grand changement. Dans le processus de l’art contemporain chinois, le « corps » a sans aucun doute joué un rôle important. Si l’on dit que l’art est un pont lancé entre la vie individuelle de l’artiste et la société, le « corps » est une des piles nécessaires. Du point de vue du corps, nous pouvons trouver la logique du développement de l’art contemporain chinois et comprendre comment les artistes chinois intègrent leur art individuel à l’espace social. Dans cette thèse, nous avons approché les phénomènes du corps les plus importants dans l’art contemporain chinois, y compris le « corps sacrifié », le « corps parodique », le « corps métamorphosé », le « corps métaphorique » et l’« intermédialité du corps ». Enfin, nous avons aussi décrit nos propres pratiques artistiques sur le corps.
