Abstract EN:

The lithic implements of 3 important neolithic settlements, located in northern france, and belonging to two different cultures have been studied : jonquieres (oise) is placed in the chasseen of northern france, bazoches-sur-vesle (aisne) and mairy (ardennes) belong to the michelsberg culture. The aim of the study being the assessment of the technical variability, tools are classifid according to function and studied according to the different steps in the "chaine operatoire" from the procurement of raw material to the knapping, shaping and curation techniques. Differences between the two cultures show up at some of these levels, denoting a different relationship to tool husbandry.
