This thesis studies the conceptual modelling and the handling of data in the decisional spatial systems. Our model proposes the concept of semantic dependencies (SD) which extends the concept of functional dependencies (FD) in the data bases. The FD handles only part of the semantics of information system data, contrary to SD which make it possible to model the various semantic bonds being able to exist between the alphanumeric attributes and spatial representation. Our model brings a semantic richer than the couple (attribute, domain). The definition of an attribute becomes a triplet (attribute, domain, semantic constants). Handling relates to the retrieval of the relevant attributes and their integration in the scheme. This process of enrichment is based on the SD concept. The procedure presented by this concept has for objective to automate the operation of determination of the relevant attributes for a request.

Ce mémoire traite de la modélisation conceptuelle et de la manipulation des données dans les systèmes spatiaux décisionnels. Notre modèle propose le concept de dépendances sémantiques (DS) qui étend celui de dépendances fonctionnelles (DF) dans les bases de données. Les DF ne traduisent qu'une partie de la sémantique des données du système d'information, contrairement aux DS qui permettent de modéliser les différents liens sémantiques pouvant exister entre les attributs alphanumériques et la représentation spatiale. Notre modèle apporte une sémantique plus riche que celle du couple (attribut, domaine). La définition d'un attribut devient un triplet (attribut, domaine, dépendances sémantiques). La manipulation concerne l'extraction des attributs pertinents et leur intégration dans le schéma. Ce processus d'enrichissement s'appuie sur le concept DS. La démarche présentée par ce concept a pour objectif d'automatiser l'opération de détermination des attributs pertinents pour une requête.
